This notice is a presolicitation notice and not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. No award will be made from the pre-solicitation notice, nor will any proposals, quotes, or bids be accepted from this notice. Any submittal will only be accepted after the posting of the solicitation notice.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement for a contractor capable of providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to meet the requirements for the Drain 27 Native Plantings project.
The Drain 27 Wetland Restoration Project is in Cass County near Horace, North Dakota. The project area is approximately 345 acres. The scope of this contract is to establish native plantings in excavated pools, in upland buffers, along an earthen embankment, and in a borrow ditch that have been constructed by others. The site will be ready to begin planting in Spring 2023. The project work includes soil preparation, planting of custom native seed mixes, monitoring, and maintenance of the native plantings for up to 5-years. Maintenance will include, but not be limited to, watering, control of invasive species, mowing, prescribed burning, and re-seeding of areas if necessary.
The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $1.0 Million and $5.0 Million.
It is anticipated that this project will be solicited on or around October / November 2022. All dates are tentative and for planning purposes only.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project will be 115112; Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating with a size standard of $8.5 Million.
The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract.
The solicitation shall be a Total Small Business set-aside.
The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bid.
