NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE

The 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot AFB, North Dakota, intends to award a

single source purchase order to Kennon due to the fact they are the sole

producer of the B-52 Intake Cover needed for this contract. Strikewerx chose

Kennon to produce this highly specific product, and currently they are the only

company that makes the covers.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other

than Full and Open Competition as authorized by 13.106-1(b). The anticipated

award date is after 14 February 2023. Please note that this is not a request for

competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can

meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information

describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline

date for the submittals is 10 Feb 2023 at 11:00AM Central Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on

responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.

Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to

conduct a competitive procurement.
