The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District (USACE) has a requirement entitled: Oxbow, Hickson, & Bakke (OHB) Ring Levee Construction portion of the Fargo Moorhead Metropolitan (FMM) Area Flood Risk Management Project, Cass County, North Dakota.
USACE intends to issue an Invitation for Bid set aside 100% for a Small Business competition that results in award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract.
The USACE-supplied, construction Plans and Specifications construction work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, excavation, storm sewer piping, riprap placement, and turf establishment.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $45.0M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The contract will require 100% performance and payment bonds.
This synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). In accordance with FAR Part 36, this is a Presolicitation Notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for award of one firm-fixed-price contract is intended to be publicized on https://SAM.gov on or about the week of 11 December 2023. The FMM OHB Ring Levee Construction Plans and Specifications will be detailed in the formal solicitation when issued. Bids will be due no less than 30 days from the date the solicitation is issued. The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
No CDs or hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Interested offerors are responsible for checking https://SAM.gov for any update(s) to this Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for any bidder’s inability to access the document posted at the above referenced website.
