On or about 06 July 2023, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “Prescribed Burn Contract for Garrison Project: Lake Sakakawea, Pipestem, and Bowman-Haley Projects.” The solicitation will close on or about 07 August 2023. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.
Project Description:
This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed-Price service contract to provide prescribed burning services at the Garrison Project, ND, including the Pipestem and Bowman-Haley projects, ND. The primary goal is to properly eliminate 100% of existing vegetation within areas of interest via prescribed burning. Follow-up maintenance after the prescribed burn will not be required as the work will be completed the day of the burn. The work will not be deemed complete until 100% of all embers and burning vegetation have been extinguished. Each assigned prescribed burn area task order will be presented to the contractor with a map of the area.
The Period of Performance for this effort is from the Date of Contract Award through 31 October 2027.

Place of Performance:
Task orders associated with this contract may be issued for locations within the state of North Dakota managed by USACE. The possible locations for the prescribed burns include Garrison project and surrounding Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota including McLean, Mercer, McKenzie, and Mountrail counties; Pipestem project in Stutsman county; and Bowman-Haley project in Bowman county.
