The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Upper Great Plains Region (UGPR), intends to award a contract on a sole-source basis to ALTEC Industries, Inc for AH100 boom repairs. This contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interest and capability statements must be received by the Government no later than 29 November 2022, at 12:00 pm CST to be considered.
