This AML site contains an abandoned underground lignite coal mine and is located 3 miles southeast of Zap, North Dakota. The Dakota Collieries Mine Site is located in Sections 31 and 32, T144N, R88W and Section 36, T144N, R89W and other areas as directed by the Commission¿s Project Manager. The site is shown on Figures 1 and 2.
